• Diamond Plate Kelly - Thanks Brett!

Well, after a major beef with Canada Customs my Diamond Plate Kelly has finally arrived.
A big thanks to Brett C. for the seamless transaction...our third...and a killer guitar.
There is none more metal.
Pics tomorrow - if I can figure out how to put them here.

I love that guitar.....thats why I got one a few months ago

does it have black or chrome hardware? I have black hardware on mine!

maybe we should start an appreciation thread from Diamond Plated Kellys

Man, that was a great guitar. I learned "the 11th hour" on it, and in fact I bought it to learn that song. I sold it to buy more LTD's.

Enjoy her.

DAMN dude, I've always had a thing for Hetfields explorer and I must say again, that is one bad mo-fo kelly right there. I think the points of the kelly look a lot better with the diamond plate.

If you want one...DCGL has had a couple for quite a while now. I took a gander at them in person back in August...they are awesome. http://www.drumcityguitarland.com/guitars/jackson2.htm

If I wasnt paying off my SL2 that should be arriving early next month I would go for it.

Standard A440 tuning. I've chugged it to drop D, but that's as low as I go, unless it smells like tuna.

Id have to keep it in at least D standard, if not C. I would think the top would make it sound very bright, no?

Just out of curiosity, how much is he asking for them?
