I have a jackson guitar whose existence has been perplexing me ever since I got it from my friend a couple years ago. Now, I know that it is a 1997 USA KE1-F; the thing is its exactly like the marty friedman kelly, except for the floyd rose and the lack of a marty friedman signature. I have seen these availiable in Musicians Friend, but only in black peral and signed by Marty friedman... However, mine is actually Trans black with a quilt maple top, which really throws a wrench in the works. I cant really imagine that jackson's output of kellys was high that year; in fact, since they didnt even put out a thousand guitars...my estimate is that this guitar could be particularly on the rare side; probably as low in numbers as the signed Marty Friedman KE-1Fs.
Unfortunately, I havent found any literature on the subject to be able to confirm or deny my suspicions...and any information you could give me would be of great help.
