DK1 Question

Hey guys,

When did they change the DK1? I see the older models had 22 frets and a HSS configuration, but the new ones are 24 fret and 2 hums. Am I correct that it has changed or am I confused and talking about a different model? Which pickups did the HSS version have in em when they ship out also. Thanks!

Yes they were changed about 3 years ago thanks to Kevin Easton if I recall right. Best thing Jackson did in a while those necks are super sweet.IMO better axe then the sl2h.

I believe they were discontinued for a few years and then brought back around 2002 with the two extra frets and EMGs. Not sure what Duncans were in the old ones offhand at the moment.

Newc is right, the Pickups were JB + 2x Classic Stack

I personally much prefer the old ones.....

The necks are the same as far as Profile goes, I just can´t seem to get used to the EMGs and the 24 fret bolt-on is all [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]
