Mustaine just put the oxblood Firebird up for auction...the one from his Trust video and the X-games...
I'm itching to get it. Anyone know how many of these there are?

I did in fact pick up that one...it's the black pearl one...if that's the one you mean. Sold by a very nice guy who let me make payments for it...lol I love these guitars, so it was very kind of him. That one has become my main one. I use it for shows...
The Firebird thing is cool. I've never played one, so I'm unsure how I'd like it. I suppose it's not a "Dave thing" with me either. I am a fan, but i just happen to like those guitars alot..

I was noticing the pictures on EGAY and I was bummed out when I saw the LRS tuners had been replaced. No big deal unless new mounting holes were drilled.

Those are considerably better photos than what was posted on Evil-Bay for Dave's auction...really beautiful man. Congrats! :-)
