What are the most favored replacement pickups for a SL-2H?
EMG's?
Evolutions?
Holy Grails?

A lot of people also like the Duncan Distortion and Jazz also.

I don't know much about DiMarzio's as they've never "done" it for me [img]/images/graemlins/refuse.gif[/img] </font>

Personally, I like EMGs but it all depends why you want to change the pickups that are already in the guitar?

depends on the guitar but Duncan JB, Distortion, Custom Custom, Custom 5, Screamin Demon in bridge positions and Jazz and 59 in the neck position.

For DiMarzios I like the Super Distorion and PAF combo/

i use either an SD custom/custom or a dimarzio PAF pro in the bridge (depends on the livliness of the guitar).

for neck humbuckers i like to use SD '59 or dimarzio HFH.

I like J90's the best. J90C's and Duncan Customs are great too.

For all things metal and shred: Distortion/Distortion

For everything else: Distortion/59

i'm actually about to do my first pup replacement ever. i own a washburn dime model thats got washburn pups in it, and i just ordered a bill lawrence l500xl for da bridge. i can't wait to hear the end result. i've also been tinkering with the idea of possibly swapping out the emg hz's in my import jacksons with emg 81's n 85's. anyone else do this?

On my main players I was replacing everything with EMG's 81/85...now I'm starting to replace the EMG's with APC Persuader Lead Customs [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]
