A few pics. Have everything done but the wiring, as you can see from the back pic. ;0 Guitar plays great, I'm hoping I can get over my hatred of neck through guitars with this one. The top is maple from a tree that had been hit by lightning and grew kinda weird, ergo the bizarro patterns. I like em better than a more uniform 'regular' top - it's unique.

Wow! I'm not a big fan of trans finishes but I would definitely like to have one like this. That is gorgeous! My future band shall be known as "One Samich Short Of A Picnic"!

Thanks guys. Yeah, I'm glad nobody bought it when I had it up for sale when I did.
Moro - I like how bolt on guitars feel when you hit notes - they seem to be more immediate than neck throughs or set necks. Just a quirk of mine. I'm hoping the quilt top plus ebony board will give it a little more attack too.

GOR - Pete had that top added by someone, it's not a Jackson option (though if you can pay for it I'm sure they'd find you one )
Nice job, Pete
Would look sweet with a slight red, blue, or green tint. Nothing too drastic, mind you, but just a touch.I want to depart this world the same way I arrived; screaming and covered in someone else's blood
