Pic request - Mirror top guitars!

I'd like to see some mirror top guitars...
Also does anyone know what the top on Paul Stanley's Hamer Scarab is made of? It's like a mirror but reacts to light in funny ways - like a prism. I'm talking about the one in "Heaven's on fire" video.

I believe the PS one in the video has a hologram on the top of it if I remember correctly....

Joel - What do you mean by hologram? There is no video tricks - the same effect is on tour live pics and it seems to depend on the angle of the guitar. The guitar's surface generates rainbow colors when the light hits it. Like prism. It's really wild. Is the there something mixed in the mirrors? My language skills are lacking in this subject. Hologram means like a transparent layer with some sort of oil or chemical shit in it, which would make it defract light in odd and cool ways, and so causing that cool effect you're talking about.

A hologram is a thin poly material with an uneven (ridged) surface that defracts light. Scott Ian had a Jackson made with a hologram top based on the Matrix movies, and Fustica had one with skulls made.
It's pretty much just a material that was laid on the top of the guitar that defracts light in such a way that it shows that rainbow effect....here's the video online:

God, Kiss is so damn weak without makeup....those '80s songs make my cry. I love '80s hair metal, but I can't listen to those Kiss songs.

I saw them in 1978, I was 8 and they were GODS then. I wanted to be Ace Frehley so badly....

to order a similar top I would tell Jackson to put a hologram top on the guitar? So what about the color underneath the top? Paul Stanley's hamer is white I think.
I have this wicked idea for a custom shop guitar but don't know how to spec that material. [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]

I saw Kiss with Anthrax, and man that was the worst show ever. Music was okay, but it was so lifeless and it looked like they weren't enjoying playing one bit. Very horrible. Most of the people left after Anthrax.
