This is a cool piece. One owner (who toured with this guitar all over the world), well played, and rare. This is my first roundhorn V and I'm happy as hell to have it arrive in 1 piece.
[/ QUOTE ] Some guy named Art from the band Obsession. I've never heard of them, but he said they were on MTV back in the day and toured Europe and Japan.
WOW!
I like it so much!!
Congrats on another cool guitar to your collection!!
When are you going to update your website?

C'mon - never heard of Obsession? Didn't you ever see the Kahler ads from the 80s? Jeff Loven from Obsession won the Kahler Guitar Solo Contest, and was plastered on full-page Kahler ads for God knows how long.
They were from Minneapolis, and one of my friends ran sound for them back in the day.

IIRC Obsession is featured on many of my old metal mags. I
have to take a look. I would remember that guitar though
if it was on there. Awesome! It seems that a good percentage of the SD roundhorn Vs were star-related.

Cool. I remember them. They had a song called "For the love of money" that I've got on an old Enigma/Metal Blade Records VHS tape called "Metal Masters"... it's also got videos from Fates Warning, Lizzy Borden, Death Angel and Hurricane. Mike Viscera was Obsession's singer... he sang on two Yngwie albums.

Holy shit! I just dug out that videotape and he's pictured on the box with that guitar!! I guess I'll have to watch it and see if he's playing it, as I don't recall offhand.
