Lane was one of the original C/J fanatics and perhaps the most outrageous in terms of a collection. He was a pioneer in the website design of a dedicated C/J site. But he sold off most or all of his collection and "quit" the scene. Apparently he was close to Grover and many at the Custom Shop. I believe he owns a car business in California, but haven't heard what he's up to these days.

Was his web site gone before the Fender aquistion?

Robb had a lot going on in his life at one time - running a business, built a house, got a divorce, etc. I don't think he had time much time for his website or Jacksons.Comment
