Congrats on a great score.
I also pulled the trigger the other night on: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...322045029&rd=1
I'm pretty sure that it's a San Dimas era Jackson, I'll know for sure when I receive the Guitar in about a months time!!!!

From the plate and #, it is a 87-88ish Ontario Jackson with a left over plate with San Dimas Address.
I also believe someone here was selling that guitar on JCF last month or something very similar.
Nice Kelly! It is great for buyers to get them at great prices like that but it is a darn shame that people think so lowly of our Jacksons!
I just got a new Kelly (my first Kelly) a couple of weeks ago, awesome guitars.

Love the finish. Is that a Pro series or USA?

The finish was part of the reason for buying it, since I've always loved silverburst. I'm pretty sure it is a USA, since it has a Duncan, no Pro or Professional anywhere on it, and I don't think that paintjob was ever on an import. It would still be a pretty good price, even if it was an import.
I actually thought hard about getting one of these when I was an endorser, but backed off because of the single pickup. The KE-1T made me think even harder - and then the year they made the KE-2T, I was broke.
Nice score, Kahler cracks aside - I always liked that finish...
Division - American Metal that doesn't suck. Much. Even on Facebook.
