I've got a KE1 on the way, but I would never have traded my Soloist for it. The Soloist is way more veratile tonally.

Thanks guys. I'm a little undecided. [img]/images/graemlins/scratchhead.gif[/img] I have another soloist which I tend to use as one of my main axes. So I'm covered in that area. I've always wanted a top-end kelly, but I dont know if I can let go of my snakeskin! Decisions, decisions..............

You just have to keep your eyes open on E-bay, be patient, and wait for one to come by. I lucked out price wise on the one I won (it's on the way), since the usually go for around a grand or so, but they are still a lot easier to get a hold of than a KV1.

Thats the one i'm thinking of trading for [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img] That's a typical price for a top-end Jackson in the UK.

Funny, I keep hearing that lots of Marty fans hate the silverburst, but I'm a fan of the Les Paul Customs in that color from the 70s.

I really do not intend of getting rid of it any time soon, if ever. I've always wanted a KE1, and I annoyed the shit out of the seller with lots of e-mail correspondence to find everything out that I could. However, I've already decided that if I ever go to sell any of my Jacksons, I'll post it here first, where people appreciate them the most. Everyone has been really good to me here. A used KV-1 has just been sold for around 1.5k on ebay. LSR Tuners, Kahler APM 3300 Fixed Bridge, Black, Made in USA etc.
