    My new SL2H (used) pics inside.....

    I just got an SL2H in green ghost flames. [img]graemlins/headbang.gif[/img] Original owner put EMG 81/85 setup [img]graemlins/puke.gif[/img] in it. They will be going shortly, so if anyone wants them, give me a shout.

    the pic in the link shows my new amp, too. A Carvin SX200 head, and it shows my other SL2H, [img]graemlins/headbang.gif[/img] ambersunburst that I bought new in '02.

            What pups are you going to put in? I may take the EMGs. You wouldn't want to swap for a 59 and JB from my SL2H would ya?

              no, sorry, i've already bought new pickups, I just need the pickup rings volume pot and tone pot now, (because all that stuff is going to go out with the emg's).

              Also, I was wrong, it's not a 81/85 combo, it's a 81/60. And I think I have found a home for those, one of my buddies here locally wants to try them out.

                Great guitars! Just out of curiosity, how do I tell what kind of EMGs I have in my Soloist? They were in the guitar when I bought it.

                    EmG's can be identified by the color of the Logo "EMG" on the face of the pickup. If it is wore off, I suspect there is a label on the back of the pickup, but you'd have to almost completely remove the pickup to find it.

                    Also, If my buddy doesn't end up liking the EMG combo in his guitar, I will offer them here on this board first. [img]images/icons/grin.gif[/img]
