I want to get him a fixed bridge Jakson and he has about $600 to spend. What models are the best bang for the buck?

Re: My sons first guitar (help)
you may get lucky and find a used US Jackson for that much, but you'll have a much wider selection if you look for import Jacksons & Charvels.
Any of the Model series or Toothpaste logo Charvels will be well within budget, as will most of the Professional & Performer series Jacksons, if you don't mind buying secondhand.Hail yesterday

Go Model series!!

That's what I was going to say, but he wants a fixed bridge. I don't think I've ever seen a model series without a trem.

Wouldn't string-thru models be just as well? You took too much, man. Too much. Too much.

They are very light and great playing guitar.
Would be very nice for your son.
You could find used one for around $600 or so.

Well would you not consider a 750xl a Model series guitar? They're available for under $600, if you're not too picky.

After the small logoed, numbered Model series, I'm just not that familiar with the Charvel import line. I honestly thought a non-trem one didn't exist.
