• Slanted necks?

Do these SL1T, SL2T, KV2T and other tune-o-matic guitars have a slightly slanted neck? From what I understood the tune-o-matic posts are not recessed and this would put the strings quite high otherwise? Does anybody have pics showing the angle?

Yes, Jacksons (and typically most guitars with TOM bridges) have necks that tilt back. I've got two Dinky HX models that are string-thru TOM with an angle... I don't have pics, but I'll try to take some soon with my brother's camera, as mine is really shitty.
Guitars with non-recessed Floyds also have a tilted neck. There's a couple companies out there that have low-profile TOM bridges that sit closer to the body with a straight neck, like my Carvin SC90.
I feel my soul go cold... only the dead are smiling.

Thanks man!!! That's exactly what I wanted to see. Substantial angle there then (not that there's anything wrong with that ).
