KE1 friedman autograph series

i recently purchased a ke1 marty friedman model that had his signature on the back. i have heard that there was a limited run of 100 that he signed for a promotion. does anyone have information on these? thanks [img]graemlins/band.gif[/img]

They were sold through Musicains Friend exclusively in the late 90's.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">The Musician's Friend models had gold hardware and Floyds instead of Kahlers. And Marty's signature was on the body, I believe. The same with the limited run of Dave Mustaine KV1s with Floyds.

There were other Marty models with black Floyds, but I don't think they were exclusive to MF.

Here's Joel's from the gallery. I believe the Marty signature came with it, then he met the rest of the band and they signed it.

it sure looks like the signature that marty put on my Cacophony album when i saw him. also that isnt a black floyd its a kahler fixed bridge. kind of weird and pointless...but

I am one of the previous owners of that guitar. When it was sold to me it was described as a signature from an Atlanta Megadeth show and the ticket to the show was in the case. The sig didn't matter to me and I didn't pay any more because of it. If you were wondering it is a regular KE1 with an autograph but I cannot verify if it is an authentic autograph.
