Many thanks to johnnyryche for scoping out this axe and informing us about it...I can't believe that nobody got to it before me...or I was the only one crazy enough to grab it site unseen!

            Sweet!
Okay, I forget, was this the one in Columbus, Ohio at the String Shoppe? If so, I emailed the dude the day it was posted here and he didn't respond for 2 weeks. It is probably good that he didn't because my wife would have killed me! But, if that is it, that was a great deal for under $900!

very nice, welcome to the club

Attention PC1 owners, does anyone know the neck pocket specs on these things. Well it work with a Warmoth soloist body?

Its sad I don't know this considerings I have two of them, but is there any differences in body shape between the PC1 body and the Warmoth Soloist body?

Re: PC-1 #5264 in the house

Haha, I'm on my second PC1, and I have no idea either. Hey, I just play 'em. But, I'm pretty sure the PC1's body is the same specs as a DK1. But, since the neck is bigger than the DK1, it just might have a bigger neck pocket.

This question is even worse, someone please don't shoot me! The worst part is I just read a thread on this a few months ago. What is the size difference between a Soloist and a Dinky?

The neck has a bigger profile, but I don't see how that would make need for a bigger pocket.

Anyone know the answers to these questions?

Re: PC-1 #5264 in the house

yeah this was that string shoppe...and let me tell you it was a total beating to deal with...I was so nervous...I only went through with it b/c of the Johnnyryche recommendation and my overiding lust for a pc1.

No pics, I had to beat a tracking number out of them, and it took over two weeks to respond to my first email...the second email response said it sold the night before...to me!...talked to two different salesmen...very condecending - every request was a pain in the a$$...fortunately it is an awesome guitar and the price was right. Sometimes you get what you pay for...shave a couple hundeed bucks and get no customer service!

Man, I want a PC-1 so bad I can taste it. One of the JCF'ers was sort of offering one the other day and I made an offer or two but I don't think he's selling anymore. If BTB or RockBrigade hear of any available, please let me know. I'm ready NOW to buy one. I just think that I'd really fall in love with one.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Tom! I'd be happy to help you obtain a PC1. There is a store very close to where I work called Centerville Music (Dayton Ohio area). They boast that they have more Jacksons than anyone in Ohio. They have a Chlorine and a Solar in stock. They are both 2002 models, but they are the best looking I have seen. The chlorine is not all blue, but more green-blue like they are supposed to be. And, the Solar one is quite different than I have seen. It is a lot darker, like a tobacco sunburst almost. They are still asking $1400 for them, but I'm sure they would probably sell them for a lot less to move them out. I don't know if they would ship to you, but you could call and ask them. Here is their info:

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">24-fret Soloists, Dinkys, and PCs all have the same body size. 22-fret models have a slightly longer body than the 24s.
