I used to have a King V with a speed neck. After awhile my right hand and wrist would hurt pretty bad. I've got pretty big hands and it was just killing me on that neck that was so thin. I like necks with some beef on em.

I have what might be a dumb question. Is the speed neck standard on King V's or is it an option?

I beleive it is Standard on the King V and Warrior, well I am pretty sure? Jack.

I really like the profile of the speed neck, but I do have trouble going from my KV2, with the tall skinny frets, to something like my Gunslinger or ML with jumbos...but it plays so damn nice, I can't trade it off!
