Re: Used 1987 Ontario Soloist
xeno- I wasn't charged a cent, actually. It was a strange situation. I was looking at the guitar at the local shop and was thinking about buying it. It had a small crack on the next opposite the nut but the dealer maintained it was just a finish crack and nothing more. I made him put that in writing and he did so I bought the guitar. Months later, it fell off the stand onto the carpet floor and the neck snapped exactly along that crack. I brought it back to the dealer and they said it would be taken care of- to this day I don't know if the dealer paid for it or if Jackson covered it under warranty. The guitar was shipped back to Jackson and they had it for around six months- I know it was there because I spoke to them on the phone a few times. They shipped it back to me and it looked brand new- not a blemish anywhere. They did an incredible job.
