I'm somewhat of a newbie here, just registered last week. But not a newbie to Jacksons. But I've strayed a bit and now I'm back. I just got a Jackson LE88 #132 and I must say, nice guitar. It's dead mint and came with all hang tags, COA (does anyone know if that's a real sig. from Grover Jackson?) and a 1988 Jackson catalogue with all 4 forms to draw graffics to submit to the Custom Shop. I've seen these 88's once and a while but never bit till this one. What surprises me is the thick tone from the neck pickup, which looks like a single but sounds like a humbucker. But I'm not quite sure what all 5 positions on the switch do. Any help with that?
Anyway, I can say I'm finally back to the love of my youth. After boucing around with Ibanez, BC Rich, Gibsons, Fenders, etc... I finally remembered what a nice axe Jacksons are. It took me buying a SL2H in Bengal Tiger Graffic from Drum City Guitar Land to bring me back. Jason gave me a great deal on a new-old stock. I'm glad I'm back and thanks to all the forum members for the intellegence I've gained here...
