Hey guys,
I took some quick pics before I leave for vacation and sent them to my buddy Stephan to see if he can post them for me. Hopefully he can. I put it up next to my Sandoval Rhoads guitar. The Jackson has the cool mother or pearl logo that just ROCKS! [img]graemlins/headbang.gif[/img] I just love that logo. Hope you all enjoy!

yep nice axe there! I love my lightning sky RR1 (a 1993, with factory bill lawrence PUs, I believe). Sweet. I have a bi-polar relationship with the RR1 and my snakeskin SL2 with EMGs. Both are excellent, but it seems that I flip-flop between the two. Also in the rotation is a SL1 with TB6 that I keep down 1/2 steps.

Also have a bunch of others, approaching time to sell them off, as soon as I borrow/buy a digital camera. Jacksons for sale: SL1 TG *good shape*, SL2 TG *EXCELLENT SHAPE PLAYED LIKE NEVER*, KV3 black, DX10 black. Ebay I suppose, paypal and all that jazz. I've been making noises about selling these for like 2 years now. <sigh>

I want to score a SL2 broken glass, but my wife would just kill me. probably worth it, though... [img]graemlins/headbang.gif[/img]

So I have to ask, how does the bridge sound compared to the neck, since both are 81s? (I think I read that right, hope so, gotta pay attention I guess).

Just curious- I recently put a 85 in neck on a SL2, and it sure does sound fatter than the bridge 81 that I already had.

The 81 in the neck sounds really good. I was kinda surprised that it had an 81 in the neck as well since and 85 seems to be the norm but I really like the 81 in there. It has the smoothness of an 85 in the neck but with a bit more bite! Just the way a Rhoads Jackson should be!!! Growl'n!!
