Cool, unique guitar. Don't know the price, but it's certainly desirable. I don't know much about Korina. How does it compare to mahogany? Anyone know?

I'm not to thrilled with natural finish guitars. A little too plain for my tastes. Nonetheless, that one's a keeper. You don't see too many 3 piece necks anymore, and I've never seen another Korina bodied Soloist. Unique.

PS2 - are you sure it's not PA2? The EMG PA2 is an adjustable gain boost - sounds very good with the 85/89 in my opinion.

I think it looks cool, especially with the reverse fins, but is there a hard finish on the body? I'd worry about that, personally.

Looks natural/tung oil from the pics, but I would think that the three-piece neck would eliminate most of the risk of warpage. Personally, I love the feel of tung-oil finishes, even though I don't actually own a guitar that has one!

I had a Custom Shop Ash King V that was finished in Gunstock oil - neat - the whole body felt like a neck [img]images/icons/grin.gif[/img]

And Korina is akin to mahogany in tone and weight.
