<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Korina (or limba, terminalia superba) is not a true mahogany. Really, Honduran Mahogany (swietenia macrophylla) is the only one left. Korina does, however, sound a lot like mahogany, but it typically has more "air" in the top end. A bit less tonally dense, overall. Excellent wood, but it's not cheap or easy to come by. My custom TCM may use it, if Terry can get a certifiably legal piece that meets his standards. [img]images/icons/cool.gif[/img]
