• Questions about the Disruptor

If I recall, the Disruptor was either a custom one off for Amir from Orgy, or it was a very limited edition production run.

There used to be a pic of a white one in the Jackson Custom Shop archives.

Does anyone have any pics, info, specs, whatever for the Disruptor? Thinking about a custom, and I want to refresh my memory.

Thanks in advance to anyone who can help me out.

        Or at least describe it!

the guitar at the bottom is the Disruptor. For anyone who's interested and hasn't seen them, the two above are Roswellian Stars

hey brad, from what i've been told, yeah, the disruptor is amir's design, and since he's not an endorser anymore, it's gone the way of the y2kv.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">He played with Rough Cutt and Orgy, most notably. Last I heard of him, he was endorsing Yamaha guitars. With Rough Cutt, most notable were his warbird-style camouflage Strat shapes, and with Orgy, he played the Roswell Stars. I have NEVER seen an Orgy video where he used his Disruptor, but he probably used it during touring. I wouldn't know; I'm not a fan of his work.

OK, Gary, got a partial pic; Toejam got the link to the full thing. Check out this line from Amir's website:

"I worked with Donnie Wade at Jackson to try and make this a signature guitar available only as a limited run of 25 or 30 but unfortunately it didn't happen."

                    Ahahahahaha!

Hey, Amir, I kicked his ass for ya!

                      Thanks guys!

That's pretty much what I was looking for. Killer looking guitar. I'm thinking maybe instead of the Explorer project I've been getting reay to start, I may do something like this instead.

I love that whole Roswell series.
