• I sanded the finish off my rr1

Well a couple months ago I started doing this and posted a picture of it not completed and some people nearly chopped my head off, but now that its done I think everybody will agree--it looks great. Its now tung oiled and never gets sticky and i can play it for hours consistantly. A Jackson USA model--the gift that keeps on giving.

I think it's fine whichever way you like it and the hell with what everyone else thinks. Not everyone hangs their guitars on the wall so it's ok to do whatever you want to do to make it more comfortable to play it.

Right On! A guitar is a tool, a means to an end, that end being musical expression.

Oh and I also bought a brand new schaller floyd for it from warmoth.com, which means i got a new lock nut and everything, 180 but well worth it. Their is a subtle subtle difference in tone from the paint being removed. Thanks for you kind words, I also agree it is a tool, but a tool i will keep in my arsenal til i die! So meh heh heh ha!!

Hmmm... found the cds and belt (looks emo... ewwww!). I'm guessing the bottle and turd-like object on the couch are the wax and tuner, respectively. Also guessing that the monster of a couch is what you're referring to. What do I win?

I see a green Nintendo 64 controller in the top left picture. What's my prize?
