I always thought USA jacksons had ebony fretbords?

They are still ebony, but the last couple I have bought look like that also (lighter in color). The wood is not as black as it used to be. I don't know if they were dying it before or what.

I have guitars with rosewood boards that are darker than that [img]images/icons/shocked.gif[/img] That's some REALLY light ebony...
