red ghost flame???

A while back I found a SL2H on Ebay that was a metalic red color with red ghost flame. I had just bought a Ibanez RGT3120 so I didn't have the $$ for it at the time but I'm now in the market for one. Was this at one time an offered color or was it just a custom shop thing? Thanks.

It was an offered color, but was discontinued after 2001 I believe. They do surface every now and then, though.
