I have 1/20 in Rootbeer...and first of its a very nice guitar. I'm a sucker for quilt tops. The rootbeer is more trans brown with more of an orangish (sp)a hue. I've never played a KV2 but I do know the neck is alot thinnner than my SL1's and plays very nice. I don't know about others here, but I don't have a problem going from one size neck profile to another...I have the sl2gx, a couple of SL1's, and a PC1 with a much chunkier neck.
As far as the frets go, they are the jumbo, so I guess that would be the "standard" size fret on most Jacksons.
