Saw a curious looking Jackson at a local guitar show this weekend. The guy had it labelled as a PC2, and its specs basically seemed the same. USA, HSS, Wilky trem, trans red quilt top, mid-90s Charvel-like headstock. But, strangely, it had an ebony fretboard and a black painted headstock. [img]graemlins/scratchhead.gif[/img]
Anyone ever seen this before? It looked original and I don't think it was a custom. An odd one-off by the custom shop, maybe? The guy was asking waaayyy outrageous money for it ($1,100). Not even in the ballpark, IMHO, so I didn't even bother to talk to him.
