Here's the new PC1 in chlorine. My wife said she got wet just lookin' at it.

Those are gorgeous. [img]graemlins/drool2.gif[/img] Surprisingly, that Solar one looks a lot redder than I imagined. Of the Solars I've seen so far, they've all been more yellowish, but that still looks friggin' cool. [img]graemlins/headbang.gif[/img]

Wow, thanks for the positive comments. The solar is definitely not as red as the pics make it look. More brown tones in person. The chlorine, on the other hand, is very, very luminous. I'm a die-hard Soloist player and I have a lot of them....but these 2 PC1s have become my main players as of late. I will say that it took me a few hours of playing to get used to not having sharkfins on the neck. I have to be careful not to fret the wrong note.

how do you like the sustainer on the pc1? what does the neck radius feel like? i have never played one but they look killer!

The sustainer is cool at any volume and either clean or driven to hell. I like the octave setting for special effects and weird noises. For leads, it is just great.
Neck radius....it's a thick neck but not uncomfortably so. Kind of like an SRV Strat if you've ever played one. I like thin profiled necks like the speed neck but I can deal with this one just fine. The frets and fingerboard are terrific workmanship and very smooth. Easy to play fast on it.
