USA strange serial nomber

hi everybody,

i own a USA RR-1, and its serial nomber is:

U12904

i believed that all the RR begin with a R, no ?
is this serial nomber is normal ?

USA RR guitars up until 1990 started had a serial number RRXXXX. In 1990 the USA Select Series of standardised USA guitars came about and all standard USA guitars came with U0 serial numbers. Custom shop orders for Rhoads guitars still have RR and other custom shop Jackson orders still come with JXXXX. Your guitar is normal.
