2 New Jackson USA's inbound (whoo hooo!!)

Hey....I just scored 2 new (well, new to me) Jackson USA's and they should be here next Friday, in which I'll post pix and give a description and "eyes on" review.

The first Jackson I have been begging, crying, groveling, and generally lusting for pretty much since I have been on the JCF. It is a black Jackson Shannon Soloist, totally stock and in nearly unplayed condition [img]graemlins/drool2.gif[/img] [img]graemlins/headbang.gif[/img]

The second is a 1988 Jackson Custom SL-1 Soloist in platinum white diamondflake finish. It is a reverse headstock, which I hear is fairly rare and sports J 4274 as a S/N. It is stock with the exception of the JT6 to OFR but the JT6 is included with it [img]graemlins/toast.gif[/img] I am seriously stoked about these guitars....

Since I have joined this board last May I have acquired these two, plus I have acquired the following:

99 SL-1 Soloist in Amber Burst
87 Dinky Strat (white w/matching headstock)
90? Kelly Pro Standard (black)
87? Charvel Model 2 w/Duncan Custom pup
04 JCF-02 "Big Red"

Thanks for the congrats....I appreciate it....they literally fell into my lap, so to speak...I wasn't expecting the opportunity...so when it came up, I jumped.

The min-pin has plenty o' room lol.....she doesn't take up too much space....and she has become the LPC household mascot [img]images/icons/grin.gif[/img]

Wow - that's great! The Shannon Soloists seemed pretty darn good when I played a few of them a few years ago. I'm sure you'll enjoy them. And I can totally understand the anticipation as you wait for them: I had to wait 2 days earlier this week to pick up my new-to-me Jackson earlier this week. The wait was excrutiating, so you have my sympathies!! [img]images/icons/grin.gif[/img]
