• KV2T help!!

I was reading posts regarding the scale on KV2T. I have one at 25.5 and saw people saying that the scale has been changed to 24.75. I checked the Jackson web site and they're advertising a 24.75 scale. My question is can I still order a 25.5 scale or does it need to be a complete custom shop order? Also will they price it as a complete custom shop or base it more on the original price? If anyone knows please shed some light.

    thanks
    k

    Re: KV2T help!!

They were always spec'd out as short scale 24.75", but someone made a mistake and a few of the first batch originally got sent out as 25.5". You might be able to track down a few of the longer scale ones at some dealers if there's any left, but if you want to order a brand new one from Jackson with the longer scale, it will have to be a Custom Shop and you'll pay the extra price for it. I think someone on this board actually had one with the longer scale and was looking for a short scale instead. Maybe use the search function and see who it was and if it's still available.

It was Hippietim, and it is now safely nested in my guitar collection! We hooked a sweet trade and now I own my FIRST King V! I love the scale and it plays and sounds like a dream! What? Pix?? Ok, if I MUST!

      Any Questions?

This guitar kicks major ass and I am very happy with it. If you have the means to ever get one, I would NOT pass it up!

That's officially the first KV2T that I've liked. Very nice.

I have been wanting one forever and thanks to Tim now I do! Oh and the BGF KV2 I just picked up on eBay for a STEAL last week, my wife RULES guys, seriously! thanks all. As always the info is greatly appreciated. It is truly amazing the members here can answer questions more accurately and quicker than my local dealer who has been talking directly to Jackson.

RemCarr - looks like you haven't done any better than me cleaning up the headstock!

For those that are curious, this is what I got out of the deal:

Do all the KV2T's come with that headstock? All the ones I have seen seem to have it. Can you get the normal Jackson headstock on them? By the way, the guitar kicks ass!!!

                        Re: KV2T help!!

They all come with that headstock, as far as I know the only way to get the traditional J/C h/s would be thru the custom shop.

                        Thanks for the kind words!

                        Be cool!
