About two months ago a guy I knew from another band called me at about 1 am and wanted to sell me his Jackson Rhoads for $300. I had the money. But I said no. I thought it was a pro model. I assumed it was for his drug habit, and I was right. But... I found out today that it was a U.S.A. model white with gold pinstripes. BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH wa wa wa

And yes he sold it for $300.

I think that like some others have said, that you might feel pretty bad had you given him the cash to go score another temporary high. It's stupidly tragic that someone could get so messed up on drugs that he would sell off musical equipment.
