I'd get a heavier body wood like mahogany to counterbalance the longer neck, or have them make the body 2" bigger in both directions, otherwise you'll spend more time fighting the nosedive [img]images/icons/grin.gif[/img]

I like the idea of the body being bigger, I'm a bigger guy so it makes sence.

I don't want mahogany though, I don't like that wood very much, especially with 7 strings, but thanks!

and I'm thinking something a little more different than ironcrosses. I might try to get a different warbird camo from the germans, maybe something from a fockewolf and maybe the death's head inlay on the fretboard?

I'm seriously thinking about this now, I don't want the number either, but perhaps something else....I'll see if I can find some good nose art and send it along and see what they can do.

Still trying to bang out the specs though, I want incredible low action, are jackson necks super stable? do they need carbon or graphite in the neck? is that an option. With the extended scale, should I get the angeled fretboard?

7 string warrior custom, how about this?

I'm seriously wanting a custom, and trying to pin down the options.

What do you guys think of this.

7 string warrior
27 inch scale
25 frets ala bc rich
reversed headstock
single emg 81-7 +pa2 +afterburner
alder or poplar?
with WWII german fighter plane white camo graphic.

ebony board with custom inlays. black binding
not sure what kind of inlays to get....perhaps nose art from german fighters?

what do you guys think?

Have you considered having bomb or missile inlays done? You could have them cascading across the fretboard sort of as if they were falling in the sky, or arranged in a normal 1/3/5...pattern. You could pick the bomb type. That's something I haven't seen so far. You could also research some war medals and possibly find something that is shaped interestingly enough for inlays. If it were me, I'd get white binding instead of black because it will show up more against the ebony while still complimenting the white camo.

And Trey has a Warrior? I wanna see.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">That's an intriguing idea! You could have the bombs horizontal and near the top of the fretboard where the frets are far enough apart to accomodate them. And then, as the frets get closer together, they turn towards the ground as they fall

I'm going to finalize any sort of idea I have this weekend and monday I'm going to put down my order. If you guys can come up with any other ideas before monday let me know. I think I pretty well have it all thought out! it's going to be one hell of a guitar!

I like the idea of white binding instead because I've decided to go with a different winter camo, and I've already decided I think I'm going with the totenkopf inlays! and maybe something else on the fretboard.

Yep, I missed that one! To go along with the napalm idea, you could also have the bombs getting smaller as they go towards the bottom, then have a bomb/nuke/fire explosion erupt back to the 12th fret or so. I have a USA BC Rich Mockingbird with abalone flames rolling across the board from tip to tail. Looks very cool if you wanted to go for that type of theme.
