Well, it was actually due to a minor screw up. I originally wanted the string thru ferruls to be in the shape of a V like on a Rhoads or a King V, but they drilled it straight due to an oversight. THey gave me the option of rebuilding the guitar from scratch or continue building it as is. The would have expidited the new build so I would have gotten it around the time that it supposed to be due. I asked for the pics to help make my decision. I decided to let it go. After seeing the pics, it just looked like my guitar. Both the Jackson custom shop and Scott at Vwall have been very accomodating throughout this whole process.

Cool. I was just curious, I placed my order (#1846) a year ago and haven't heard a word from Jackson since.
I guess no news is good news. Sorry to hear about the gaffe though.

I can't say for some other CS orders, but this one is ahead of schedule so far and the JCF Greenies are ahead as well. One of the two, those guys are kicking ass to get Jackson/Charvel pieces out there to stir up the masses and show that the FMIC acquisition DID NOT killed them.
