What a friggin shame. This guitar is so beautiful. It's the only TSB that I have seen in person. Guess I'll be waiting for another 4 months. [img]images/icons/frown.gif[/img] Pics will follow tomorrow.

Sorry to hear that Fritz. I was lucky enough to get a couple of Rhoads recently through UPS without any damage. I was sweating it out during shipping though.

That is the 4th SLATQH that I know of that has gotten a crack right behind the nut. 2 of mine, Huntin' Doug's and the one that KE had.

I had a SLATQ-P90 with the same finish last year. Bad ass guitar, great sound to boot, was sold to WODKA... Too much tension....too much bad luck with yours.. Sorry to hear about it.

God that hurts... must ... take... a.. moment...Ok OK. Its always hard to see one go down. Especially one so young, full of potential, way before its time. Thats a damn shame, my condolences.

I wonder what happens to guitars like this? Do they go back to the Jackson shop? Do they get parted out? Or just scrapped? Anyone know?

What kind of case is that? Cause that's not the same kind as what comes with an SL2H for instance. If SLATQHs are shipped in different types of cases and they are the ones usually breaking, could it be a case issue? [img]graemlins/scratchhead.gif[/img]
