• Jackson sl2h, the new breed of guitars for me

Hey all, I'm from Ireland and have been mostly importing esp guitars (standard, custom)as the prices are ridiculous over here and same with jacksons, I remember years ago I had a jackson performer V and loved it lol.. anyway I always wanted a top of the line jackson sl2h , they are priced about €1800 here
, so I waited until a brand new one poped up on ebay in the colour I wanted and believe me i'm glad I decided to buy a high-end jackson , I would compared to if not the same as the over priced neck thru kh2 relic that I have, I was shocked buy how both compared, the neck on the sl2h is slighty bigger than the relic but not that much and is still just as good to shredd on, they both have the same alder bodies,#
I must admit I do prefer ebony fretboards, I like the sl2h so much that I will be buying the fixed bridge sl2ht for sure , could someone fill me in on the fender/jackson situation , I hear the whole jackson crew is still there , which way has this affected if any with the current sl2h , does fender have a say in the bulding of the guitars ,
also what is the main differences between the slatqh and the sl2ht

Antway here is the pics of me new sl2h

Beautiful bro,I had to sell one just like it about 10 months ago,I still cry sometimes when I'm alone in bed at night.I will get another though,my girlfriends ring can wait.If you do a search on the Fender situation you will get a ton of hits and info. The SLATQH is an archtop,quilt,22 frets, and has a different body shape. They are beautiful and most of the owners here rave about em'.Congrats on the SL2H,enjoy! Welcome to the Forum! And congrats on the great score, that grey snake looks great. I like snakeskin finishes, too:

I've now seen all the graphics (live) in 3d, and IMO the only one that looks dumb is the pile o skulls, mainly because its to cartoonish for my taste. I just got a new SL2H lightning sky back in Nov. 2003, and my final choice were erie, ltg sky, and snakeskin. Still dont know if I made the right choice, but the detail in the ltg sky is just jaw dropping.

Beautiful looking guitar you have there.
