Is there any difference in the neckshapes 83-85 rr

Is there any difference between 1983 and 1985 rr neck shapes [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]. I have a 1985 and like the shape. Just curious if anyones compared them before?

83 and early 84 necks have been fatter from my experience and a bit more round. There are exceptions though since many were custom ordered. Generally all 83-86 Jackson necks are a lot fatter than later ones. I've also seen 1987 Jacksons that had San Dimas profile too.
