It was a Soloist SL2H model (2002?). It was like a 1/2 pound lighter (a little thinner sounding too but, might be due to 9 gauge strings as opposed to my 10's). The main difference was that it had Abalone inlays and logo whereas my 2000 Snakeskin SL2H has Mother of Pearl inlays and logo. Why did the green ghost flames model have Abalone? It had a regular made in usa headstock.

And it's not a custom shop model or limited run? I have never heard about regular selects having abalone.
And yes, 9 gauge strings tend to sound thinner.

Yeah, I have an SL2H and some of those inlays look really like abalone when you look at them up close....Popular is not the same as good
Rare is not the same as valuable
Worth is what someone will pay, not what you want to get
