hi
i just wated to say that
all the suspect things are the same on my 88 firecracle dinky
she´s got the stamp also on the heel of the neck(it´s not filled at all, though )
she´s got "Hemila March 17th 1988" and a shim in the neckpocket
and she´s got the fuzzy, printed-like logo
so i also think they just made them like they are and it´s nothing wrong about

Most of my Jackson necks have stamps like yours on them.

If that came from relic master then the refin was done by Paul at BigHeadGuitars.com. It is on his site.

I am sure Lee has done the same graphic but this one is a BigHead.

I remember talking about this one with Paul.

Man the description on http://www.bigheadguitars.com/shop1.html sounds exactly like this guitar. In the photos, I don't think he pulled the tape out of the neck pocket before he took the pictures.

None the less, very cool guitar, congrats

I would say those are the same two guitars. The tape line in the neckpocket is slightly irregular yet exact to each other.
