New PC1

My new PC1 just came in. It is absolutley beautiful. But I had a big surprise when it came in.... It is a Strathead, and it is signed by Phil....
Didnt know either of those things. I dont care about the strathead, as I really like the old headstock. But this Signature thing on the back Trem plate, kind of bugs me. I dont want to mess the signature up, but I want to play the guitar live... Holy shit what do I do...

If you want to preserve the sig, flip the plate around. IIRC, they may be reverseble. [img]/images/graemlins/scratchhead.gif[/img]

If the sig is on the backplate... take it off, put it in a ziploc bag, and leave it in the case. Buy a replacement backplate and voila. This is what I did with my Paul Gilbert control cavity plate (except that I needed to get the replacement custom made due to the unique shape). Looking forward to the pics!

Ack. He signed the electronics plate, not the trem plate. Those aren't reverseble, and are unique to the PC1. Sorry, bro. Good luck with that one.
