This is the most important piece of Jackson history for me. The first Jackson King V ever logged. WO still states double rhoads but log entry was made as King V and it's got the shorter wings. I also have #5 which was the first black regular size KV and made one month after this one.
I got this over a month ago together with the Dan Spitz Rhoads and just picked her up from a luthier who restored it to original paint. It was oversprayed blue at some point but luckily it was removable and the original paint underneath was unharmed.
The guitar really shines - much more than normal Silver Metal Flake. Rare one piece neck construction, lightweight alder woods. Serial J0446.
