    Congrats - My order is 1969 so it's getting closer (hopefully!)

            Koa neck thru! Nice choice Codex. Mine's gonna be all koa as well (can't go wrong with Koa). What wood for the body wings?

              Quilt top XTRR, flame neck (oiled finish with carbon rod inserts), ebony board with reverse sharkies, 2 EMGs, non recessed Floyd and gold hardware [img]/images/graemlins/headbang.gif[/img]

                oh jesus. the return of crackle.



                i like the cut in the body, but my god, why the crackle? why? why? why? i hope ya get a free pair of acid washed jeans and white reebok hi-tops with every purchase. some things don't need to be brought back.

                        Sully, I'm thinking of a neck thru Learn painted "black with blood veins" crackle in the future. All for you [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img] [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]

                        I gotta say I'm not big on those "blister" crackle designs. I like the wider BC Rich crackles.

                            next to the washburn wonderbar, crackle finishes had to be the worst guitar trends in the 1980s. oy.

                              Its a bolt on, but koa neck and koa body with a zircote fingerboard and a 3/4 quilt archtop. [img]/images/graemlins/headbang.gif[/img] I'll put the full specs up once I get the whole thing finalized. I'm still waiting for Jackson to reply to my corrections (they missed the archtop part).

                              I dunno sully, there were so many bad trends in the 80's. Crackles are pretty low on my list of offenders. [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]
