Hello,
Well, I finally got some batteries that would actually stay charged for more than a minute for my camera and snapped some shots of my collection while I was doing my monthly string changes and cleaning of the fretboards! and here we go:
My baby and first USA I owned: 2000 Usa Jackson RR1 in Lightning Sky finish with dual EMG 81's (18 volts setup), Blue Lightning strap, and blue painted hum rings! I ordered this guitar my senior year of high school from Musicians Friend and got it 1 year later [img]/images/graemlins/mad.gif[/img] But it was well worth it and I have only played Jacksons ever since [img]/images/graemlins/headbang.gif[/img] [img]/images/graemlins/headbang.gif[/img]
Next is Joel D's and mine love child [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img] I purchased it from Joel here on the board! It is a 1995 Rhoads in Eerie Dess Swirl with dual Bill Lawrence pups and is currently having the hardware changed from black to gold (Just waiting on Budman [img]/images/graemlins/tongue.gif[/img] )
Here is one that I have always lusted after:
A 2003 Warrior with the Shattered Glass paint and yellow pup rings! I got this here from Hyperfuzz (Scott) for a screamin deal and everyone who passed on it should be kicking themselves in the arse [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img] The paint is sooo vibrant in person. It is awesome and so glad that I finally got a Warrior after wanting one forever, but not being able to get one because I would blow my money on another guitar and as soon as I did a Warrior would pop up for sale [img]/images/graemlins/crazy.gif[/img]
Here is my Death Dealer [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img] It is a 2003 DK-1 with the Pile of Skulls graphic with an EMG 81/85 18 volt setup, Schaller skull tuner knobs, skull strap, and I am making some awesome skull knobs and a special skull jack plate myself to make this the ultimate Skull guitar [img]/images/graemlins/headbang.gif[/img]
Finally: This is my project/ beater/practice guitar! It is a 2001 SL-1 with a after factory Sky with clouds paintjob that was done to it before I bought it off Ebay and about a week ago I found out the seller was mr426 from here on the board [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img] Besides the paintjob, the neck/headstock area had a crack in it and when it was shipped to me.. good ole UPS finished the job [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img] [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img] I was actually glad it broke all the way off because I was able to get glue on all of the repair area for a super strong bond! It is now fixed and plays like a dream [img]/images/graemlins/drool2.gif[/img] The neck and frets looked like it was never even played before! The graphic is a little uhhhh.. you know...... and I am planning on painting it myself to look like this:
