I first heard about this guitar some three years ago from Robert Witte. The store (in Hawaii) was hard to reach and since I only had a rumour that it exist and no pics etc. I gave up. Then a year or so ago I talked about it with Ian and it turned out he had seen pics of it and knew quite a lot about it but had turned it down cause it had some issues, was pricey and didn't have a Floyd Rose.
I kept thinking about it occasionally and when I got the original Dan Spitz XTRR I knew I had to get a turtles replica XTRR to go with it. I had helped JohnnyMac to get a Firebird from Europe so I asked him to help with this one. John had to put a lot of effort into getting the deal done for me with possibly one of the most lazy-ass dealers there is. It took months but it makes this even more special! Special thanks also to Ian for all the information and for passing on it so I can grab her. [img]/images/graemlins/toast.gif[/img] One day You will get a turtles XTRR as well. [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]
