• My old Soloist - PICS - Damn!

I came across some pics of my old Soloist. Single hum, factory active electronics, factory Floyd, cool silver/gray-to-black burst with matching neck and headstock. Serial J1926. I foolishly sold this years ago to raise cash for my house and have regretted it ever since. Anybody know where she is?

as cool as it is, (and it IS!) at least you have a house and that's a great move in my book

Silver burst (one hum) soloist! You don't see many of those, in fact this is the first time I've ever laid eyes upon one and it begs for MORE!
You took too much, man. Too much. Too much.

Killer guitar. haven't seen one with that finish in decades. The house was more important though.

The micro stack went 'on sale" also for the house. It was a cool practice amp in my apartment, and a nice complement to the silverburst Soloist. I stil have the serial number - maybe you DO have the microstack?!

Sweet Mary, that's one badass looking Soloist. My KE1 Silverburst has only the top and back bursted, while that one has it all over the place. My guitar collection just ran off to hide in the corner.

Please don't tell me I'm gonna have to make this kinda sacrifice when I got to buy a house. I'm almost down to the guitars that will cause physical distress to sell.

My advice is if you can swing the house deal without liquidating, don't sell the axe(s)! You can always do it later if you get in a real bind. If you *DO* sell, know how to get in touch with the buyer later, and always throw in the "if you ever sell, call me first". At least you'll have a place to start if you try to track it down after the fact.
I could have made the deal work without selling, but I felt like I wanted a little "cushion" just in case. Oh, how I miss her!

I'll try to remember to post the S/N. I have three Microstacks, and this one rips!

If you take a close look at these older one (1987 - 1989), some had one output in the front (D/I) and some had two (D/I and headphones). There is a difference on the inside as to the components used, so in my un-scientific study, the single output ones sound better.
