What were the deal with these PCS guitars? In the auction thread someone posted an ad that had the white collen, a drop dead gorgeous Koa/quilt one and the one you have. How many were made, what was the story behind em?

There were 2 PCS Dinky's : the exotic and the flamed one..
each time I post a thread about them, there's no reply.. so I would say it's fair to assume there aren't that many.. and I missed an exotic koa in germany.. just [img]/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img]

The PCS Exotic (with the koa/quilt) is almost exactly the same specs as the Charvel IV Koa Reissue that I have been gassing for for like the last 5 years. The only differences are the headstock, the neck on the Charvel is birdseye and the dots are offset, but if what you say is true I have about as much chance of snagging a PCS exotic as being struck by lightning..twice. If anyone is interested in snagging a PCS Exotic, and is prepared to pay top dollar for it, send me a line... I´ve got a lead on one, but it´s a bit too expensive for me right now. It´s located here in Sweden, by the way.
