Does anyone have the specs for JJ1? What could you compare these to as far as tone goes? Do they still have the same characteristics of a Soloist?

the JJ1 is bolt on... the JJ2 is neck through...

        Re: JJ1

        should be a 25.5"

BTW, the JJ2 is nothing like a Soloist either really. The neck shape is way different, the pickups are way different (although that is obviously easy to rectify), and the upper fret access is not as good as a Soloist (but still doable). I like my JJ2 a lot.
I want REAL change. I want dead bodies littering the capitol.

          Re: JJ1

I am actually looking for something that is not a soloist/super strat type guitar. Someone suggested a Les Paul and I have never been had the desire for one. I was thinking a JJ1 might be something different to work with.

            Re: JJ1

            Here are the specs

Bolt on construction with contoured heel.
Neck: Quarter sawn rock maple with a rosewood board, oil finished.
Body: Alder or Korina for natural finished models.
Pickups: Duncan JB bridge and Duncan Jazz neck
Bridge: Gotoh wraparound or Wilkinson trem

The neck is thicker and rounder then most standard Jackson necks, I don’t find it ridiculously thick though and the profile is quite comfortable.

            Here’s mine.
