Jackson strat 1987, reverse strat head

I bought this Jackson strat about five years ago. It is a white strat with bolt-on neck, Kahler trem and San Dimas neckplate (built in Ontario, April 1987). Everything is matching with the information I received to my request from Jackson (> Built in April of 1987,strat,white,kahler).

It seems like these strat head Jacksons are quite rare. I do not remember seeing another one with reverse headstock. The guitar is in really good shape, but fretboard is quite dirty and trem bar is missing.

I've been thinking about having an additional pickup installed to neck position. But if this guitar is a rare one perhaps it would be a better idea to leave it in original condition ?

Don't add a pickup ..

The only other reversed strathead I've seen was a slime green one ..

Looks great as it is - if you really love the neck, but still need a neck pickup, get a different body for it......

You would definitely lose a substantial % of value. Sweet guitar and very very rare, leave it original.

that guitars is simply amazing. Keep it straight. Dont mod it. If the temptation is too much pass it to one of th guys here that wont mod it. I think you got a really great guitar there.
