I am with Newc, add whatever you want so long as you realize it will likely effect the value to some degree in the long run if you decide to sell it. But don't let that dictate your decision, I'd much rather keep a guitar like that and change the guitar to fit my tastes, then to sell a guitar with that much mojo. Personally I'd get rid of the Kahler, and add a SC in the neck.

Adding a pickup to that guitar would be like putting a sunroof in an original 64 Mustang... don't do it.

Might have chimed in before (I have had few), but I think no mods. There are plenty of options to get "your guitar" without hacking up an original.

so was the budstar with the reverse stratheadstock i bought from brad k. the only other reverse strat head star in the books?
